What We Do
*Valentine's Day Sweetheart Project - Frisco Moms Care becomes the Valentine to a local mother who has been recently widowed or lost a child.
*Blanket Project - Frisco Moms Care purchases materials for blankets that are then hand sewn by one of our members and delivered to women and children in our community during times of crisis.
*Mother's Day Project - Frisco Moms Care provides gift baskets of comfort and care items to mothers whose children are long term patients in local cardiac units, pediatric intensive care units, and neonatal intensive care units.
Sister Moms Program
We began many years ago as a lone Facebook page to connect mothers who could help one another through emotional and financial struggles, and have now evolved into a formal organization with a strong following of 15,000+ digital supporters on our website and in various Facebook groups that offer moms in and around Frisco a sense of community and sisterhood. We currently offer need based assistance through our Sister Mom Program. The Sister Mom Program provides assistance to families in Frisco, Frisco ISD, Little Elm, and Little Elm ISD who qualify based on need based income guidelines.
*Personal Care Packages - Each year Frisco Moms Care provides personal care baskets to each family we serve. Baskets include both personal hygiene items as well as household cleaning supplies.
*School Supply Project - Each child enrolled in our program receives a backpack along with each item from their individual school supply list.
*Winter Coat Project - Frisco Moms Care provides new winter coats yearly to every child enrolled in our program
*Thanksgiving Meal Project - Each year we deliver a full Thanksgiving meal to each family enrolled in our program. Each box delivered includes groceries needed for a Thanksgiving meal along with supplemental items that provide an additional 3-5 days’ worth of food.
*Holiday Meal Project - Every year we provide a full holiday meal to each family in our program. Each box delivered to our families includes groceries needed for a Christmas meal along with supplemental items that provide an additional 3-5 days’ worth of food.
*Holiday Adopt a Family Project - Each year, Frisco Moms Care collects and purchases holiday gifts for families enrolled in our program. In addition to traditional toys for children, we also provide household necessities for families.
